Not reported yet in any news agency, the Estate Of Christopher Wallace ( PKA The Notorious BIG)
just defeated the City of Los Angeles in the City’s efforts to keep the family from getting their day in court.

The court ruled that sufficient evidence exists to let a jury determine if the former LAPD officer, David Mack,
used his “color of law” authority to help kill BIGGIE. The case is set to go to trial in October of this year.

Crooked cops are always bad news.
Crooked cops involved in murder are even worse.
I think L.A. is about to write a very large check to Mrs Wallace.
Rodney King got $13M, if I remember correctly, and he's still alive

Little Brother To Sail in the Atlantic

While early reports said that Little Brother was negotiating a deal with Atlantic Records, SOHH.com sources have revealed that the group will join the label through a production deal with independent ABB Records. Word is the deal is almost official and that LB will be releasing their sophomore LP The Minstrel Show through Atlantic Records.

Tanya Herron is getting ready to drop her debut solo, currently titled "Smoke Signalz", as she has completed recording for the album.

The album features the likes of Daz Dillinger, Kurupt, Scarface, Juvenile, Z-Ro, and a few other surprise guests.

Production for the album was handled by both Mike Dean and Tanya herself.

"Smoke Signalz" is currently in the mixing/mastering stage, and is scheduled to drop sometime later this year.

Jadakiss Charged In North Carolina Incident

Rapper Jadakiss was charged with various offenses in Fayetteville, North Carolina on Monday (July 5) after police found guns and marijuana in an SUV he was travelling in.

Police said an off-duty officer witnessed one of the occupants throwing firecrackers from the window of the SUV.

In a report, the officer said he approached the vehicle and requested that the occupants stop. When they continued, the officer stopped the vehicle and allegedly saw marijuana.

A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up less than an ounce of marijuana and two .45 Ruger pistols along with two clips that contained 15 bullets each.

The officer said he found the guns hidden under a pillow in the SUV.

Eight other people were in the car, but only Jadakiss was cited.

All charges were misdemeanors. Jadakiss is scheduled to appear in court July 28.

Gestern war es soweit! Der Wu-Tang Clan gab sein einziges Deutschlandkonzert in der Berliner Columbiahalle. Nachdem die Vorgruppen Lil' Flip, Bushido und Azad teilweise ausgebuht wurden, bekamen die 'Buher' was sie verdienten. Anfänglich noch euphorisch begrüßt, flachte das Konzert von The WU sehr schnell ab und zwischen Geburtstagsständchen für RZA, jede Menge Bla Bla ums neue Album und Merchandise-Aufgedrücke blieb letztendlich nicht viel Energie für den eigentlichen musikalischen Part über. Etwas wenig Enthusiasmus für ein Konzert, das jedem Fan an der Abendkasse 40 EURO abknöpfte, wie sich einige Leute beschwerten. Immerhin musste man ja schon auf die WU-Aushängeschilder ODB und Method Man verzichten. Wen juckt's der Durchschnitts Wu-Tang Fan war viel zu bedröhnt, um die Qualität des Konzerts zu bemängeln und hatte trotzdem Spass. Genauso lustlos und mit WU typischer 'We don't give a F-Attitude' wie auf der Bühne, sah man die Mitglieder vom Clan so gegen 1 Uhr, wie sie im Bademantel und sexy Badelatschen bekleidet aus ihrem Tourbus stiegen, um sich an der Tanke n Six-Pack und Chips zu holen!

Und wieder ergibt sich ein weiteres goldenenes Kapitel für Alicia's zukünftige Memoiren. Am 25. September wird Ms. Keys eine große Ehre zu Teil, denn sie darf als eine der ersten Musiker ein Konzert auf der weltberühmten Chinesischen Mauer geben. Das Events wird den Namen 'Wall Of Hope 2004' tragen und kommt dem China Children und Teenager Fund zu Gute. Man erwartet bis zu 10.000 ausschließlich geladene Gäste, die zusammen das 20-jährige Jubiläum der Mauer-Restaurierung zelebrieren! Wir müssen da wohl ins Rohr gucken, doch mit Sicherheit wird dieses Monster-Event - oder zumindest die Highlights der Show - ins Fernsehen übertragen.

New Edition say their new LP will have "the Bad Boy bounce" but still maintain that same New Edition smooth style. Fresh from a two-day video shoot in New Mexico for the track "Hot 2 Nite," Ralph, Ronnie, Mike, Johnny and Ricky performed this past weekend at the Essence Music Festival in New Orleans. The group revealed its new album's title, One Love, and its due date, September 25

Secondly, I hope that by now y'all are well acquainted with my brothas Outerspace. They've appeared on both Violent By Design and Visions Of Gandhi. They also toured the U.S. with us in 2003. It's beyond music with us. My family is their family and vice versa. Outerspace has been patiently waiting in the wings for around 7 years now, and finally, on July 27, they will be dropping their CLASSIC, (that's right, CLASSIC!) debut LP, Blood And Ashes. We've worked tirelessly for the last year and a half on this record and everyone involved put their blood, sweat, and tears into this project. Guests include myself, Sadat X, Immortal Technique, Celph Titled, Esoteric and more with production from 7L, Celph Titled, DJ Sat-One, Jon Doe, Beyonder, and 2 up and coming cats: Arithmetic (from Toronto) and a brotha named Shuko (from Germany) - who is fuckin bananas! If you're like me and you miss the boom-bap shit from '94, this record is for you. Don't sleep, sleep is the cousin of death.
