Shawn Greer, 39, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and using a firearm to commit a felony in a deal with prosecutors. In exchange, they agreed to cap Greer’s sentence at 16 years in prison. Prosecutors also agreed to lower his first-degree murder charge to second-degree and drop a conspiracy charge .
Judge Junius Fulton III asked Greer whether he was, in fact, guilty.
