Please introduce yourself and let the people in Germany know about your history.

I’m Zigg Zagg I started my career as a rapper in 93 or 94. I learned from Brotha Lynch Hung.

So what’s going on right now in the world of Zigg-Zagg?

Right now, I’m making a compilation, so far it’s untitled. It’s almost done though. It will probably be out next year.

How does a typical day of your life look like?

A typical day for me, consists mostly of my 2 kids. I cook , clean, like most wives, and take care of the kids, except I have to bring my kids to the studio with me at least twice a week when I do my studio time. Other than that, I have alot of time on my hands most days. I watch alot of TV, I like ‘The King Of The Hill’ cartoon, I watch that daily, and ‘Fresh Prince Of Bel Air’…

Where does your name come from and what’s the meaning behind it?

My name comes from me smokin alot of weed for so many years. Lynch made that name for me a long time ago…

Are you a heavy smoker or what?

I used to be a heavy smoker, but it’s been a little over a year since I quit smokin’ weed. I quit not too long after my best friend died…

How did you hook up with Brotha Lynch & The Siccmade Fam and how long are you related with Lynch now?

I hooked up with Lynch before he was Lynch. He didn’t even have an album out, and I had never heard of him. I met him at my job at Burger King, when I was 15 years old. I have been with Lynch for 13 years now, and we just got married on may 21st of 2005..

Did any crazy Kill Bill type of stuff happen that day? I mean, people don’t expect a regular wedding going down when Zagg and Lynch are going to marry, right?

We had a private wedding at his aunt’s house, very nice, and very big, but very private, only friends and family came to it. Nothing too crazy happened. Just zagg in a dress was probably the craziest thing on that day…

What is the most special thing about Lynch and what does he like most about you?

The most special thing to me about Lynch is his smile, that means alot to me to see him smile, for all he’s been through – and his heart. I think what he likes about me most is how down I am, I’ll do anything for him, and he knows that.

Let’s talk about your music? Tell us a little bit about your upcoming album!

“Through The Eyes Of She” is a diary of my life. I talk about getting shot at, I talk about Lynch and my relationship, I talk about bitches, my best friend’s death – it’s a wide variety. It’s very well put together and very carefully thought and planned out. I have alot of tight features on there, Brotha Lynch is on there like 3 or 4 times, Suga-T, Siccmade cats are on there. Beta and Lynch mostly produced this album. I put every thing I have into this album…

What makes it different to your first album?

My first album, I was a beginner and you can tell I didn’t put everything into it, I had some tight vocals, but it takes more than that to make a hit album, and at the time I didn’t see that. Longer songs, better production, better mixes, more variety…

Aren’t you satisfied with your first CD?

Im not satisfied with my first album. I like my lyrics, but everything else I would change. From the production, to the length, to the mixdown, there’s alot. My heart wasn’t in it at that time, I just wanted my shit out…

How many units did you move?

I have no idea how many units that album sold, but I know it wasnt too many. I’m hoping this one will do alot better.

Who is actually signed to Siccmade Muzicc right now and what releases can we expect in the near future?

We have COS, Phonk Beta, me, Lynch, those are the only ones I know that are signed at this point. We have alot of artists, but they have to prove theirselves before the release. In the near future, you can expect my shit, Lynch’s ‘Diner’ and a movie. And COS has something he’s going to release next year, too, I think. Not too sure tho…

Who is the most impressive rapper you know and why?

Lynch is, and not only ’cause I know him, but because I’ve watched him work, I’ve watched him get a crowd reaction, and I’ve watched him get hated on. I learned everything I know from him, and he told me when I first met him, he would be the best rapper in the world, he was right. He is, because his creativity comes from within, from the underground and still sells millions – that’s good shit! “Season Of Da Siccness” is actually my favourite Sac-Town album ever…

What ever happened to Polo Da Triggaman? Why did he never came out with an album on Siccmade? What’s up with him right now?

Last I heard, he was locked up. I don’t know, sometimes people go their seperate ways. And alot of times there ain’t no reason behind it…

Will P-Folks be workin’ with the Siccmade fam again? Have you been in contact lately?

P-folks is doin’ alot more than just rappin now, he’s a bidness man. I’m sure we’ll be workin with him in the future, he always keeps in contact with us…

What’s your opinion about Phonk Beta’s latest album? He brought back that old Siccmade Sound, right?

I’ve always liked phonk beta’s shit. I think for as long as his ass took to drop, it was worth the wait, but i’ve heard that CD so many times tho, so… *laughs*. He plays it in his car on a daily, well he used to…

Do you listen to any other music besides rap? Where are your influences coming from?

I would rather listen to the radio, R’n’B and HipHop any day. It’s soothing to me, but i have to keep up on the rap world, too. I like Missy Elliott’s shit, I like Eve, any female MC , I like it…

Did you work with any other artists lately? Will you be featured on any upcoming releases?

I’m featured on Lynch and MC Eiht’s new one, “The New Season” or whatever, “It’s A War Goin’ On Outside”, that’s the track. I think it was hella tyte. Shit, I don’t know what else right now. I think that’s the latest…

What’s up with a ‘Bonnie & Clyde’ album from you and Lynch? Is that going to happen?

Maybe one day, if he gets the time. That would be nice, but we’ll have to see. He’s busy.

Alright, let’s get a little more personal. How would you describe your own character?

Good inside, real, funny and spontanious… shit, I could go on and on…

What has been the greatest experience in your life up to this day?

The greatest experience was when I was a kid, I always had fun. I always traveled. I want to travel the world with Lynch one day…

And the worst thing that ever happened to you?

Dealing with my best friend’s death, watching Lynch deal with his mom’s death – and dealing with that and him at the same time was hard…

Do you have any hobbies?

Scratching lotto tickets, excercise, goin’ out, cookin’…

Do you read anything right now or did you watch any special movies lately?

I read about my birds, that’s bout it. The movie “Set It Off” influenced me. Well,. it was tight anyway, that’s my favorite movie. “Clockers” is Lynch’s…

If you never stepped into the rapgame were would you be today? Which profession would you have choosed?

I would be a nurse or som’n, I like to help people..

Imagine this scenario: some crazy virus is spreading around the world and all of the people turn into zombies except you for some kind of reason. You flee from a big bunch of Frankensteins into a lonely house to barricade yourself, run to the cellar and lock the door. It’s dark as fuck down there and you can’t see shit. Then suddenly you realize you’re not alone down there and hear somebody say:

a) Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeehhhhhhhh….First Degree….but you can call me the D.E.
b) Guess what daddy’s bringin’ home for supper, nigga-nuts & guts and slabs of human meat motherfucker!
c) I’m Bushwick Bill but you can call me Chuckwick…

Who would thrill you the most and why?

D.e.’s crazy ass *laughs* . That was good. His voice is deep and that shit would be comedy, but if I didn’t know him, I might get scared. And in order to survive – I would run! *laughs*
